Troubleshooting

ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION

Stuck at INITIALIZATION

Incorrect Gateway EUI (LRR-UUID) Ensure the Gateway EUI in ThingPark matches the one on the gateway label or Web UI. The format must include the required prefix 0016C0-(e.g., 0016C0-AC1F09FFFEXXXXX).
Wrong gateway model was selected Confirm that the selected model in ThingPark corresponds to the actual WisGateOS version of your Gateway
Gateway is not connected to the Internet Make sure the gateway has an active connection via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular.
Connection blocked by firewall Verify that outbound traffic is allowed to community.thingpark.io on port 443.

FAQs

  1. Do I need to manually set the LoRaWAN region on the gateway?
No, when using Basics Station (CUPS), the region is configured automatically by the Actility server.
  2. Can the gateway automatically report its location?
Yes, if GPS/GNSS is enabled on the gateway, it will automatically report its position to the Actility server.
  3. Why is my gateway active but not showing any device data?
This is normal behavior in Actility ThingPark using Basics™ Station with CUPS. Device traffic appears only after end devices are registered and transmitting.
